The weekend of May 17, 2025, there were some high winds in Tippecanoe County, and Warren County, and some eyewitnesses said there was a tornado in Shadeland near Lafayette. Lafayette on Teal Road had some trees down, blocking the road for 4-5 hours. A car on Bennett Road, nearby, was crushed by a tree.
